The NFPA 96 Standard mandates ventilation hood cleaning of kitchen hoods, fans, and ductwork at regular intervals. This maintenance activity needs to be carried out in compliance with both the NFPA 96 and the local AHJ standards. Hood Cleaning is usually performed on a semi-annual basis unless otherwise noted.

We offer the following services as part of ventilation exhaust cleaning:

  • Clean and remove grease from fans, ducts, and hoods
  • Inspect and clean at all access panels
  • Clean all filters
  • Polish the stainless-steel hoods and backsplash
  • Clean up work area
  • Clean the kitchen floors.

Other Services Offered:

• • Install hinge kits for fans. (NFPA requirement)
  • Install grease containment system to protect roof.
  • Add access panels to ductwork.
  • Furnish new filters and globes.
  • Before and after photos available upon request.

Upon completion of cleaning, the appropriate documents and noted deficiencies are left at the location and made available electronically.
